Job Title: Tee Time Customer Service Representative

Summary

Customer service focused inbound telephone position supporting the Golf Department. Operates computer and peripheral equipment to process tee-time reservations. Receives inbound calls, determines nature of business and handles requests. This is a part time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Handle telephone inquiries/requests with a high degree of focus on providing excellent customer service.
  1. Receive requests for tee times from residents with guests. Confirm identification and make tee times in accordance with policies.
  1. Receive telephone requests for tee times from resident property owners that do not reside in HSV. Enter requests into tee time computer in accordance with policies.
  1. Receive telephone requests for confirmation of tee times from resident property owners that do not reside in HSV. Query tee time computer for assignment information and inform caller.

5. Record all transactions as required by procedures.

6. Assure that tee time reservation scheduling book accurately reflects dates and times that courses are closed due to tournaments, maintenance, etc. Update book as necessary.

7. Call persons scheduled for advanced tee times and reschedule if course(s) are required to be closed on date(s) not previously scheduled.

8. Input registration form into tee time system and GHIN.

9. Book scrambles. Enter new league members. Input golf course conditions.

10. Receive and process requests from realtors and/or rental companies for guest tee times.

11. Configure tee sheets re: league play dates, tournaments and course closings.

12. Be well versed on POA rules, regulations, procedures and fees for various POA amenities.

13. Respond to customer questions, requests and book reservations for various POA amenities.

14. Performs variety of clerical duties.

15. Regular attendance is required.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent public relations and telephone skills are required. Good organizational and record keeping ability. Some typing ability and good computer skills are necessary.

Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with all customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Good organizational and recording skills a must.
