About the Role

Airswift is seeking a Technology Specialist II (PC Support Specialist II) to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining network and system architecture best practices, coordinating projects, and ensuring seamless communication across various company departments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft desktop and server environments, Cisco networking equipment, and industrial radio networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document and ensure adherence to network and system architecture best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (local operations, corporate, construction I&E, etc.) on projects, support, and standardization.
  • Assist in supporting Denbury's iWAN network, security appliances, and field communications equipment.
  • Provide technical support by resolving user-submitted help desk requests.
  • Participate in projects to ensure on-time completion using in-house staff and external vendors as needed.
  • Serve in the network outage rotation to ensure business continuity.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting Microsoft desktop and server environments.
  • 3-5 years of experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking equipment.
  • Experience with point-to-point and point-to-multi-point wireless technology.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network security concepts/design.
  • Experience working with industrial radio networks/equipment and connecting SCADA hardware (RTU, PLC, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work as part of a remote team.
  • Travel requirement: Up to 40% (out-of-town travel required).
Qualifications
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with internal work order/ticketing systems.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Environmental & Physical Demands
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Frequent use of computers, keyboards, and office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Frequent travel (up to 40%) to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities.
  • Occasional use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be medically cleared to wear full-face respiratory protection and complete annual fit testing per company guidelines.
