As we continue to integrate innovative solutions and ensure our systems run smoothly, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Technology Services Manager to lead the district's IT services team and ensure efficient technology deployment throughout all district locations.

Job Summary

The Technology Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology services within the district, including systems deployment, hardware and software management, IT support, and compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring the district's technology resources are optimized, secure, and aligned with educational and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Services Coordination: Oversee the district's technology infrastructure-including hardware, software, and services-to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Vendor Relationships: Maintain relationships with technology vendors, and coordinate the procurement and installation of technology parts and resources.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring prompt and effective support for staff, administrators, and students.
  • Training & Development: Provide staff training on technology tools to ensure effective usage across the district.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with District and Department Leadership to establish and implement long-term technology strategies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on technology usage and performance; maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of district-wide technology operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Significant job-related experience in technology services, with prior leadership and project oversight.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills; proficient in several technology platforms.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, networks, and current educational technology trends. Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
  • Abilities: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
