2050 Partners is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technology Associate to support and enhance our IT, software, and tech stack. This role is integral to ensuring our technology ecosystem operates efficiently, securely, and in alignment with company objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for IT asset management, software administration, and integration development between platforms such as Microsoft 365, Coda, and Projector PSA, as well as supporting data management and analysis.
Beyond maintaining and optimizing existing systems, this role also provides a unique opportunity to research, strategize, and develop new technology solutions that enhance company operations and service delivery. As part of a small but rapidly growing team, you will be in a key role to help shape the direction of our technology stack, exploring emerging tools and innovative integrations to improve efficiency and impact. You'll report to the Technology Lead, collaborating on both strategy and execution to ensure our technology infrastructure evolves with the company's needs.

Responsibilities
Software & Systems Administration
- Oversee all software subscriptions, licenses, and data/usage limits, balancing cost-effectiveness with functionality.
- Manage software-related onboarding and off boarding, including procurement and day-one setup.
- Communicate software updates, administrative changes, and their impacts to employees.
- Adjust software settings to meet company and employee needs.
- Administer the Microsoft 365 tenant, particularly supporting SharePoint and Teams access using Syskit Point.
- Support marketing by maintaining the backend of the 2050 Partners website (WordPress), including content updates, plugin management, and Google Analytics.
- Manage and improve Windows-based energy modeling tools for Mac users.
- Provide technical support for project-specific platforms such as AWS, Skyspark, and Attune.
Software Customization & Integration
- Research, evaluate, and implement new software solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support service delivery needs.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Projector PSA, Coda, and Microsoft 365.
- Enhance and maintain Coda's functionality to support internal processes.
- Improve company-wide use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools while ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Lead live or recorded training sessions on new software tools and features.
- Maintain and improve software documentation in SweetProcess and Coda.
- Support the Technology Lead with various initiatives and special projects as needed.
IT Management & Cybersecurity
- Oversee the full lifecycle of physical technology assets, from procurement to decommissioning, including storage and employee equipment logistics.
- Manage relationships with external IT support and security providers.
- Stay up to date on cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance through policies and training programs.
- Research and provide support for various IT-related needs.
- Maintain IT documentation in Coda and SweetProcess.
Data Management & Analysis
- Support the development and maintenance of a data strategy that meets company and project objectives, including supporting development of scalable, cloud-based data platforms.
- Collect, clean, and process large, complex datasets from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, security, compliance, and consistency.
- Utilize statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline).
- 3+ years of experience in technology, data analysis, IT administration, or operations.
Technical Proficiency
- Experience directly administering multiple SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with APIs for software integration and automation.
- Hands-on work experience using at least one programing language - proficiency in Python or R is a plus.
- Comfortable working with both Mac and PC environments (2050 Partners primarily uses Macs but has a few PCs).
- Experience with data management, storage, and analysis is a plus.
