Affinity Management Services is a fast-growing Community Association Management firm leveraging technology to improve efficiency, customer experience, and business growth. This role offers a direct impact on business strategy, IT infrastructure, and process optimization.


Position Overview

We are seeking a Technology & Business Systems Manager to lead our technology strategy, oversee our MSP provider, optimize system integrations, and enhance visibility into customer interactions and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work across departments and with external vendors to streamline technology, prioritize high-impact projects, and drive innovation.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver who can bridge technology and business, challenge development teams when roadblocks arise, and ensure technology initiatives align with company goals. Deep expertise in Microsoft system integrations, including Microsoft Dynamics Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing, as well as PowerApps, SQL databases, and API integrations, is essential for optimizing systems, automating workflows, and driving efficiency across the organization.


Key Responsibilities


Technology Strategy & Optimization

  • Oversee integration, utilization, and optimization of core business systems:
  • Microsoft Dynamics (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service), PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SQL Database, Azure Cloud Services, and WordPress.
  • Develop and execute a technology roadmap to improve efficiency and business visibility.
  • Identify automation opportunities and leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve data-driven decision-making.

Cross-Department Collaboration & Business Visibility

  • Partner with Operations, Accounting, Customer Care, HR, and Leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, Dynamics) to improve visibility into customer interactions.

Vendor & MSP Management

  • Manage the MSP provider to ensure IT reliability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee an offshore development team, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Hold vendors and developers accountable, ensuring solutions meet expectations.

Project & Roadmap Management

  • Prioritize high-impact projects and maintain the Business Process/IT Roadmap.
  • Optimize technology budgets for cost-effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide constructive feedback to developers and partners.
  • Implement & Manage Azure DevOps repositories, develop Build/Release Pipelines, and optimize the CI/CD process.

Training & Process Improvement

  • Work with the Business Process Analyst and Learning & Development Manager to document workflows, train staff, and ensure the adoption of new technologies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on updated business processes and systems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, IT, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years in technology management, business systems, or IT strategy.
  • Expertise in: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service), PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate. SQL databases, API integrations, cloud services (Azure preferred). Workflow automation, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to challenge vendors and developers to ensure quality.
  • Experience managing MSPs, software vendors, and offshore development teams.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align technology with business operations.
  • Hybrid role: 3 days a week onsite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business process automation, project management (Scrum, PMP, or similar certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, .NET programming, API (REST & SOAP), and cybersecurity best practices.
