Altro have an exciting, part time opportunity for a Technologist to join our Resins Team based in Maiden Newton, Dorset

As a Technologist in the Altro Resins team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products for the Altro Resins portfolio.

Your work will start from the initial concept to full-scale manufacture of our resin floors, ensuring products meet the highest standards in terms of performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and any changes in legislation, collaborating with our suppliers and customers to develop technical specifications and ensuring products are tested and compliant with the relevant industry standards.

What We re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate ideally, with a degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Materials Science, or equivalent practical experience. A solid understanding of resin products and their applications in the construction and transport industries would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have experience with laboratory testing and ensuring product compliance with industry standards, as well as a proven ability to solve technical problems and drive product improvements. You should have excellent communication skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and our internal teams. A keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and innovation are key.
