This hands-on role involves working with induction heating systems, an efficient, contactless method of heating using electromagnetic fields. Known for speed, accuracy, and energy efficiency, induction heating is used across industries like aerospace, electronics, and energy. The Induction Technician will work under the supervision of the Technical Manager and Applications Engineers to meet customer needs in equipment repair, coil building, and setup for sample testing. This role is for people who enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and contributing to meaningful projects.

Production Support

In this area, you'll assist with preparing materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring efficient, accurate job completion. Your work helps maintain smooth operations and high-quality standards, with products used in everything from single units to automated production lines, supporting both small and large-scale manufacturing.

  • Gathers materials required to fill work orders, as necessary.
  • Sets up equipment and positions work pieces for processing, as directed.
  • Ensures jobs are completed in a timely manner and according to schedule.

Repair & Assembly

This part of the role focuses on repairing equipment and assembling components. Your work helps maintain system performance and supports long-term reliability for our customers.

  • Processes customer RMA's and repairs equipment.
  • Builds and repairs customer coils.
  • Completes proper documentation and reports of services provided.

Technical & Engineering Support

You will support the team in testing and preparing customer samples, contributing to tailored solutions and system optimization. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a technical environment.

  • Assists in the preparation of testing customer samples per customer specifications.
  • Assists Engineers in daily tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of previous mechanical, electrical or electronic manufacturing experience.
  • Must be self-directed, motivated and able to multi-task.
  • Strong knowledge of Electronics Theory and/or and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

  • Preferred Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology (3-5 years experience in lieu of degree).
  • 2-4 years experience in a repair technician or maintenance technician role preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Familiarity with manufacturing
  • Knowledge of brazing, soldering
  • Induction heating experience a strong plus

PTO Policy

As a CEIA team member, you will have the benefit of receiving Paid Time Off (4 weeks to start) and Paid Holidays (10 paid holidays and time off between Christmas and New Year's Day).


Working Conditions


This job operates primarily in an office/lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
