Associate or equivalent degree is Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred
1-3 years' work experience in automotive repair or automotive service equipment field

This role will conduct Beta testing of Hunter Engineering Company software, hardware, and other equipment with our industry partners.
As a Product Field Testing Technician:
What you will do:
Field Site Visits - Deployment & Expansion
Tier 1 -Team site visits for product stakeholders to demonstrate customer concerns and field complaints during product testing cycle from Alpha, Beta, and Release
Tier 2 - Hunter Team requested visits including multiple teams focusing on new installs, product deployment, and firsthand exposure to day-to-day shop workflow and operations
New Product Development - Early Involvement & Voice of the Customer
Primary team support for new product development (NPD) process from project kickoff to steady state review after released
Defining customer needs and site requirements during early development before deployment
Engineering Deviations - Engineering Managed & Tracked
Monitor performance of EDs related to fitment, durability, ease of installation, an over rating compared to the standard part used in the MOS (improvement from our current process)
Implementing ED process within our Engineering/Beta Request Application
Field Support - Service Lab & Marketing
Analyze field reported problems and provide recommended final solutions
Develop coursework and initiate Lunch & Learns with various teams to review new product operations from installation to overall functionality
Additional Qualifications Include:
Associate or equivalent degree is Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred
1-3 years' work experience in automotive repair or automotive service equipment field
Understanding of automotive service equipment as it relates to equipment manufactured by Hunter Engineering Company
Ability to adapt to ever changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and present logical conclusions based on customer experiences.
Must have Microsoft tools and computer operating systems.
Working knowledge of undercar service issues is a plus
Great verbal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented
Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to report and solve problems
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical & mechanical equipment issues.
