Job Description:
Job Title -Technician - Test Reliability
Location - Bradenton, FL 34202
Duration - 12 Months
Work Schedule: M-F
Pay Rate: $24 - $28 per hour
Job Summary:
- Join a hands-on engineering test lab focused on product testing and validation for fire detection systems (smoke, CO, and heat sensors). You'll:
- Interpret schematics & client requirements
- Create & execute testing procedures
- Ensure compliance with agency standards
- Use tools like JIRA, oscilloscopes, SMT, and smoke/heat chambers
- Log results & defects, troubleshoot with engineering
- Help manage lab operations and equipment
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years in an engineering test lab
- Solid understanding of schematics & low-voltage electronics
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel (macros a plus)
- Strong communication, problem-solving & self-management
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Preferred: JIRA experience, fire & safety industry knowledge, familiarity with smoke tunnels & fire test rooms
