Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract job with a client at Auburn Hills MI 48326 (Onsite & Local only). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Automotive industry is a must.
Rate Range: $22/hour to $26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities:
- Support of client Press fleet activities.
- Perform PDI (Perfect Delivery Inspection) and initial preparation of vehicles.
- Updating of hardware and software.
- Ensure perfect technical condition of client's Press fleet vehicles for use at client Press events and loan to automotive press (e.g. automotive enthusiast magazines).
- Document all modifications, repairs and complaints for each Press vehicle.
- Support client PR vehicle launches technical activities including press events and auto shows with press demonstration vehicles.
- Perform all scheduled maintenances and repairs on vehicles as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive industry
Education
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent degree in automotive technology

Required
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize
- Ability to interpret and apply quantitative methodologies
- Assertiveness
- Extensive client technical and product knowledge
Desired
- German language skills
- ASE certified technician
