Silotech Group is seeking a Technical Writer / Knowledge Manager to support our proposal for the United States Air Force's 557th Weather Wing (557 WW) at Offutt AFB. This role is critical in capturing, organizing, and managing technical documentation, SharePoint content, and process artifacts for a highly visible Department of Defense program. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in managing RMF documentation and knowledge management systems. This position is part of a proposal contract effort scheduled for award in 2025. Location Onsite at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Remote work is not authorized unless approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Travel is not anticipated. Clearance Requirements Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Maintain and organize program documentation using KM tools such as SharePoint. Prepare and edit RMF artifacts, process guides, and SOPs. Track action items and capture minutes from technical and program meetings. Support configuration management of documentation in compliance with contract deliverables. Assist in the development of briefings, white papers, and compliance-related materials. Coordinate with cybersecurity, IA, and systems analysts to ensure accuracy and consistency of documents. Qualifications Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Technical Writing, IT, Communications, or Knowledge Management). Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical documentation and knowledge management. Experience supporting DoD programs or RMF documentation is strongly preferred. Certifications No mandatory certifications required, but documentation-related credentials (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+ for RMF familiarity) are a plus. Desired Skills Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with RMF, DoD documentation standards, and cybersecurity terminology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate across technical teams.
