Technical Support Strategic Advisor

Overview Technical Support Strategic Advisor (PEO C3N): Bowhead is a seeking a Technical Support Strategic Advisor to support its PEO C3N contract in Aberdeen, MD. The Technical Support Strategic Advisor will help with aligning PEO efforts with the Army Unified Network Plan and Army Campaign Plan. This is a part-time role. Responsibilities Review Army, Joint, and OSD strategic planning documents to help draft guidance for the PEO/PMs. Help build input and responses to Army taskers on strategic planning documents. PEO portfolio training and professional development (i.e. monthly Engineering Huddles) Technical expertise to PEO-wide contracts (i.e. authoring PWSs, developing requirements, creating IGCEs, etc.) Subject matter expertise to challenged programs with regular program status updates to the PEO Additional systems engineering oversight to PMs as needed or directed by the PEO, such as, reliability program oversight Technical expertise to PEO public affairs artifacts (i.e. conference briefs, articles, interview talking points, etc.) Other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience and Training in Army Strategic planning A Master's degree and ten (10) years related work experience is required. 3 additional years of experience, and a BA/BS, or an additional 6 years of experience without a BA/BS may be substituted for the degree; graduate from an Army War College preferred. Direct experience with senior leader communication of complex technologies. Direct experience with defense software development processes. Direct experience with conducting senior leader forums to independently review program technologies. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically This is a part time role. Target rate is $50/hr to $75/hr, commensurate with experience. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
