Technical Support Specialist & Trainer - Medical Technologist

We are seeking a Medical Technologist to join our team in Miami, FL as a Technical Support Specialist & Trainer. This vital role will leverage extensive laboratory knowledge to provide training and support during the installation of medical lab devices. The candidate will be central to the documentation of lab procedures and will play a key role in direct problem-solving related to reagents, procedures, and software upgrades. Fluent in Spanish, the position requires regional travel, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with various professionals while expanding your expertise in medical technology.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct involvement in problem-solving covering reagents, kits, procedures, adaptations, and software upgrades.
  • Provide comprehensive training to medical technologists on the use of the instrumentation.
  • Handle reagent-based issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Utilize lab knowledge in Post Sales support of the instrumentation.
  • Represent the company at seminars, conventions, meetings, and wet workshops.
  • Offer telephone support to machine operators.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of lab experience as a Medical Technologist.
  • ASCP Certification is required.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish.
  • Residency within a half-hour commute of Miami, FL; no relocation provided.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good Coagulation experience, detailed on your resume.
