Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Holland, MI (1 day WFH)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary: $30-$35/Hr

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join a growing IT team. In this role, you'll resolve a wide range of internal IT issues while delivering an exceptional end-user experience. Ideal candidates bring 2-4 years of IT support experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft technologies and networking basics. You'll join a collaborative, growth-focused team committed to service excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Job Responsibilities of the Technical Support Specialist:
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service to internal end users and external vendors.
  • Tier 2-3 Technical Support: Providing onsite technical support for hardware, applications, phones, network and servers.
  • User Administration: Manage users and permissions with M365 Admin Portal, Entra ID, Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Project Work: Help spearhead various IT projects for the organization and various locations.
  • Network & Servers: Managing the organizations Meraki equipment, LAN Network, Wi-Fi, Windows Servers and virtual servers.
  • Backups & Disaster Recovery: Managed the organizations backup an disaster recovery plan.
Preferred Experience of the Technical Support Specialist:
  • 2+ years experience with Tech Support Level 1-2.
  • Experience with an RMM tool or ticketing system such as JIRA, ConnectWise, Service Now, etc
  • Experience with user administration within M365, Entra ID, Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience managing on-prem Windows Servers and Virtual Servers like VMware.
  • Experience managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Great with technical documentation.
  • Motivated to learn and grow as an IT professional, working with new tech and on new projects.
  • Strong customer service skills in person, virtually or over the phone.
Bonus Experience of the Technical Support Specialist:
  • Certifications in CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
