Job Title: IT/Technical Support Representative (Customer Support/Account Rep - Sr)

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users calling the IT Service Desk.
  • Provide excellent customer service by actively listening, understanding user issues, and responding with urgency.
  • Accurately document issues, problems, and resolutions in a call tracking system.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues using knowledge base tools and expertise.
  • Support enterprise software and hardware issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Provide guidance and support to end-users via phone, chat, or in person while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Install, modify, and run diagnostic programs for computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
  • Maintain a high level of first-call resolution and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Work in a 24x7 environment, including weekends and after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced IT support or technical support role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Understanding of enterprise software, hardware troubleshooting, and IT support best practices.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
