Description Ray Murray Inc is searching for an experienced Technical Support Representative (TSR), ideally located in Bensalem, PA. As the TSR you will collaborate with customers to promptly diagnose and resolve technical issues. You will also research information using available resources such as operating manuals, manufacturer technical support and websites and will continue to develop your knowledge and keep well-informed of changing technology within the industry.
As the Technical Support Representative, you will: - Provide technical support to both internal and external customers.
- Act as liaison between the manufacturer and our external customers to facilitate technical issue resolution.
- Develop training programs as needed.
- Provide training and certification of internal and external customers.
- When required, provide on-site training, troubleshooting and other technical support.
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies in our industry.
- As quality assurance, follow up on preventative and corrective action with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Support customer service by receiving general incoming calls as directed.
- Travel for company business as required.
- Provide sales quotations as requested from customers
- Provide facilities support as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in the role you must possess: - Extensive knowledge of propane gas products; knowledge of Hearth Products is also favorable.
- Experience in the installation, service and use of our products.
- Strong customer service skills.
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel 15-30 days per year.
- Ideally located in Bensalem, PA; Flint, MI; or Lee, MA.
