Visit for more details. Responsibilities The future of world-class mission support and innovative ground system architecture and software is being developed today at Arcfield. The Enterprise Data Applications and Platforms group delivers enterprise solutions for data-centric and service-centric capabilities to empower our customer's most important development, test, and operations activities. We are looking for a forward-leaning individual to oversee Tier 2 support to mission critical capabilities. This individual will be required to oversee the update and maintenance of production systems, the employment of service and application monitoring tools for the ground enterprise's platform services provider, and provide advanced troubleshooting. He or she will need to be able proactively deescalate complex technical issues through problem-solving, efficient collaboration, and effective communication to and between leadership, end users, and developers. Qualifications Required Qualifications: BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a managed services or IT support environment
Clearance required: TS/SCI with Poly Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or related STEM degree program (certain certifications can take place of this requirement)
1+ years working with OpenShift/Rancher/Kubernetes to deploy and support complex applications
Ability to travel >10% of time
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely about complex technical topics
Enjoy working with customers using excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:. Industry experience network security or application security, cloud preferred
Technical networking knowledge in TCP/IP and the application layer, SDN, and/or cloud
Technical experience supporting Linux-based products
Drive to automate system health checks and troubleshooting
