Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer (Contractor)
Hourly pay rate, Available: medical, dental, vision, 401k, HSA
2-3 days on-site in Parma, Ohio
2-3 days remote from home

Position

• Tier 2 contact for resolving technical issues for end-users

• Ask, listen, resolve, document the details, escalate if needed

• Assist customers with account setup and application installations

• Manage tickets and work with internal / external teams for solutions

Required

• Tier 2 Support

• Google Workspace administration

• Microsoft Active Directory administration

• Windows Desktop OS and Chrome OS

• Hardware and software troubleshooting

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Ability to quickly assess and troubleshoot issues

• Good communicator via phone, video calls, chat, and email

• Experience working in a remote team environment

• Empathy during customer communication

• Experience in a customer facing role

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Preferred

• LMS System support

• HDI or ITIL certification or experience

• Enterprise service desk best practices
