Job Opportunity: Technical Support Engineer
Our market-leading client is expanding their technical team and is looking for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join as a Technical Support Engineer. If you are a tech-savvy individual passionate about problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and working closely with external sales teams to drive market growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support products and assist with application inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems from internal and external customers.
- Handle a product range including pneumatics, electric drives, serial interfaces, and chillers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support through various channels such as phone, email, Teams calls, and webinars.
- Continuously develop your skills and industry knowledge.
- Support and train internal departments.
- Conduct showroom tours for customers.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience.
- Methodical problem-solving skills, organized with clear record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of being understood across multiple communication channels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Technical knowledge with an understanding of sales is beneficial.
- Enthusiasm for energy-saving initiatives and sustainability.
