Job Description

The Technical Support Engineer for Application Support & Technical Services Project is responsible for
providing technical support for software applications and resolving any issues that arise during the
deployment, maintenance, and use of the applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-
functional teams to ensure that software applications meet customer requirements and are aligned with
organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any issues related to software applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software
applications.
3. Ensure that software applications meet customer requirements and are aligned with organizational
goals.
4. Communicate with end-users, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather feedback on
software applications and suggest improvements.
5. Create and maintain documentation related to software applications, including user manuals,
installation guides, and troubleshooting guides.
6. Participate in the development of software applications by providing technical support and feedback
to developers.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software applications and emerging technologies to provide the
best possible technical support to end-users.
8. Manage and prioritize multiple technical support requests and track progress using appropriate tools
and systems.
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience in technical support for software applications.
3. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C .
4. Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, or Jira.

The Technical Support Engineer for Application Support & Technical Services Project will play a critical
role in ensuring the successful deployment, maintenance, and use of software applications. The role
requires a strong technical background, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the
ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
