Morning Shift - Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm PST

Training Hours 6:00am-2:30pmPST

Salary: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance to our clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot software and hardware issues, support various operating systems, and ensure seamless connectivity through LAN and VPN solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical expertise will be essential in delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities
  • Offers technical assistance to consumers, installers and sales staff.
  • Provides answers and technical information:
  • Answers requests from clients around installation, consumer warranties, troubleshooting, and product features, advantages and maintenance;
  • Is able to offer solutions to problems brought by consumers (plumbers, sales staff, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies to provide informed support.
  • Receives and processes orders for replacement parts or products from customers:
  • Enters service call details in the computer system;
  • Follows up with customers, retailers, plumbers and sales staff.
  • 100% Remote
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in Tech Support function.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in software troubleshooting across various platforms.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and their functions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of SAP configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and processes.
  • High school degree or equivalent
