As a Technical Support Analyst (3rd Shift) you will be responsible for resolving process, application, and software issues within Linux servers, databases, and other critical systems.
Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst to provide L3 support to our client. This position will be a full-time, long-term contract, and remote .
This is a remote position in the United States. The Technical Support Analyst must be able to work east coast times. This position is Sunday - Thursday, 12AM to 8:30 AM EST.
Due to our end client, candidates must be able to work on CAI's W2 without a need for sponsorship now or in the future.
What You'll Do
Resolve process, application and software issues within Linux servers, databases and other mission-critical systems
Communicate/escalate application related problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users and unit leaders
Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on applications and servers
Use knowledge and judgment to diagnose issues and problems as they are reported into L3 and resolve these issues as quickly and efficiently as possible
Ensure that the L3 mailbox is routinely monitored and that all inquiries and requests are resolved
Isolates problem trends and ensures that troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
Unix and Linux Command Line experience/knowledge (comfortable running basic commands in Linux)
Level 3 support experience
Ability to prioritize work
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exhibit punctuality and communicate effectively

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
