Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in customer-facing services focused on translating enterprise customer needs into cloud solutions. Experience in developing solution architectures through system design techniques (e.g., distributed systems, designing a system under certain constraints, simplicity, limitations, robustness and tradeoffs). Ability to travel 20% of the time as required. Preferred qualifications: Experience with public sector organizations delivering cloud enabled transformation within the context of unclassified and classified infrastructures. Experience co-creating and ensuring delivery against Cloud roadmaps with customers or vendors at the CIO, CTO, SVP of Engineering level. Demonstrated record of implementing large-scale cloud or software projects in corporate environments. Demonstrated cloud architectural capabilities with a broad set of enterprise use cases. Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance (TS/SCI) or eligibility. As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will work with customers in helping transform their businesses through the innovative use of Google Cloud Platform. You will work cross-functionally, providing pre-sales enterprise architecture support, solutions delivery and migration, and engineering expertise for Google's largest customers. As part of the professional services team, you will work on customer RFPs and proposal processes, partnering with Sales and Customer Engineering counterparts to deliver technical architecture and services strategy. You will help inform the scope of services staffing and timelines. You will advise customers on architecture best practices and architectural blueprints as the foundation for migration to Google Cloud. You are part of a team that will propose, develop, and implement new approaches as well as strive for execution consistency, and repeatability for these engagements. You will represent and deliver best practices across the areas of infrastructure/application/data modernization and more. You will collaborate cross-functionally within Google, as well as support our services partner community. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$263,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Engage with public sector leaders to drive digital transformation, define shared initiatives, promote Google technologies, and guide architectural design. Guide teams through the delivery of forward-thinking and innovative approaches to anticipate and address public sector customer problems. Provide innovative solutions to public sector challenges and support Google's engagement with government standards bodies. Identify and resolve technical hurdles and integration needs through collaboration with Google product and engineering teams, and customer teams. Demonstrate a robust understanding and experience with product deployment, systems design and integration, as well as the competitive landscape to deliver industry expertise.
