Technical SETA Description: Candidate sought to provide on-site program management and technical advisory support at government agency in Arlington VA. The successful candidate will have strong DoD and IC relationships to facilitate engagements, transitions, and technical alignment. This role encompasses program management functions including coordination, scheduling, writing and the development of program roadmaps, technology insertion plans, and risk management strategies. The advisor will engage with stakeholders, partners and transition agents for experimentation and operational objectives. Desired capabilities and characteristics:
1. Engineering/science background as an Engineer or Program Manager
2. M.S. engineering degree with 20+ years' experience including extensive SAP experience
3. Deep understanding of the special mission areas across the services and combatant commands
4. Proven ability to effectively communicate, coordinate, and navigate DoD processes
5. Experience in managing all phases of rapid acquisition programs
6. Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and manage rapid-response requests
7. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities Responsibilities:
1. Conduct technical analyses to identify critical technology areas, assess program feasibility, and evaluate technology readiness levels
2. Coordinate mission partner and stakeholder engagement across DoD agencies and services
3. Manage program transition activities, including driving action items to timely completion
4. Develop program roadmaps, technology insertion plans, and risk management strategies
5. Support source selection and proposal evaluation activities
6.
