TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead our operations team by delivering excellence in sustainable M&E services, projects, and compliance. This role offers leadership, management, added value, and development opportunities for our clients across London and the South region, working with our client JLL.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage supervisors and oversee the engineering workforce delivering M&E services, compliance, and OF delivery. Support the management and delivery of extra works and M&E/fabric projects.
  2. Lead, drive, and develop direct reports, ensuring all mandatory training is completed and a robust succession plan is in place for all roles.
  3. Manage the supply chain by negotiating best value and procuring in line with stretch targets, ensuring standards and compliance with Avetta and Construction Line. Conduct annual plan rights and regular performance reviews.
  4. Prepare and present MI reports to clients during KPI meetings. Manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure high standards of client satisfaction. Develop relationships with consultants working for our client.
Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will possess highly effective management skills, excellent communication, diligence, and a proactive ownership approach. You should have proven experience in delivering high-quality hard M&E services in a multi-site, client-driven environment, along with good knowledge of health and safety legislation. A technical background with a professional qualification and practical experience in electrical, mechanical, or gas trades is essential. Desirable qualifications include BIFM or equivalent, IOSH or NEBOSH certificates, and experience with computer PPM management systems (e.g., Concept).
