Role Description:


This is a full-time hybrid role for an Equipment Sales Specialist at North Coast Lift Truck Inc. The role involves tasks such as lead generation, communication with clients, business planning, customer service, and sales activities. While the role is primarily based in Akron/Canton, OH M4- Columbus- B2, Cleveland East side M7- M5 remote work flexibility is available.


Job Responsibilities:


Responsible for maximizing the sale of lift trucks, and warehouse products within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.


  • Develop existing accounts and seek new business.
  • Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships.
  • Consult and problem solve to enhance the Company's position in existing and target accounts.
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.
  • Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Utilize a CRM to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
  • Experience in the material handling equipment industry is a plus.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training programs both locally and at the Mentor, Ohio corporate headquarters.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to gain Knowledge through OEM training courses and learn the entire sales process.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Extensive computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OEM quoting tools.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
  • Finance knowledge, or mathematical problem-solving skills.
