ION is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for executing a broad-based sales strategy that includes both digital and in-person platforms. The position will involve acquiring and managing direct sales clients and third-party distributors.
The ideal candidate will have relevant domain knowledge to be able to prospect clients and close deals. This candidate should also be able to uncover client needs and find a way to add value to their business. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire, support, and grow domestic and international customer, distributor, and partner relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Present ION's portfolio and value proposition to prospects and existing clients in virtual and in-person meetings, by phone, and approved messaging platforms.
- Maintain an updated database of all leads, deal opportunities, and account interactions in CRM software.
- Analyze marketing and sales data to refine and improve ION's sales and marketing approach to optimize results.
- Collaborate across ION departments and with third-party advertisers, designers, and content providers to generate and optimize sales materials.
- Manage some aspects of tradeshows, including site selection, negotiating contracts, and tracking follow-up activities to measure ROI. Some travel will be required for this role.
Qualifications
- Industry sales experience is required. A degree in Pharmacology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and analytical skills are required.
- Experience utilizing customer relationship management software (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce).
