Technical Sales Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing

$85K-100K + bonus

Full-time Aerospace Manufacturing Sales Engineering


We're looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Account Manager to drive business development and client success in the aerospace and defense sectors. In this customer-facing role, you'll be responsible for nurturing strategic relationships, crafting tailored proposals, and leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-value engineered solutions.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer growth strategies to meet or surpass sales goals.
  • Build lasting partnerships with clients by deeply understanding their operational needs and strategic objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive shifts, and evolving market requirements to guide business decisions.
  • Work closely with internal departments-including Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Finance-to deliver customized solutions and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems and oversee timelines to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within aerospace, defense, or a related technical industry.
  • Strong track record of developing account strategies, closing complex deals, and managing proposal lifecycles.
  • Effective communicator with excellent presentation and organizational abilities.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office; experience with design tools like CATIA or NX is a plus.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 30%, including potential trips abroad.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $85,000 to $100,000, with bonus potential based on performance
