Technical Sales Consultant (Environmental) - Bilingual
(1 Permanent full-time remote position located in Quebec with preference for candidates in Montreal and the greater Montreal area)

We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to join our Hydrometeorology sales team to help us meet these goals both now and into the future.

What You'll Work On
Specializing in applications to monitor weather or water, as well as energy balance and greenhouse gas fluxes in a variety of applications a Technical Sales Consultant in Environmental Research works with government entities, University researchers as well as private industries and consultants. Successful team members will enjoy the chance to work with a wide variety of clients on their unique monitoring needs.
The Technical Sales Consultant role works towards building market share by understanding our products as well as current and future needs of our customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor for key stakeholders and clients, while designing solutions, performing client visits, completing bid documentation, and generating quotes. Additionally, as part of this role, you will:

Work towards meeting and exceeding sales quotas while driving profitability.

Achieve client objectives while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and trust with customers.

Create and modify technical information included in marketing materials.

Work on bid and tender submissions within target markets.
What We're Looking For
-
Completion of related post-secondary education in Science, Instrumentation or Electronics with a strong preference for a background or experience in Atmospheric Sciences, Hydrology, Soil Sciences, or Micrometeorology.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical or instrumentation sales, or experience in the areas of Hydrometeorology or Environmental research.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Available to travel to client sites and conferences as required.

Strong communication skills (being bilingual in French and English is required).

An ability to become a technical expert in our product line.
