PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage the site's Quality organization, including Quality Assurance and Metallurgical functions.

Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with key industry standards and customer requirements including:

  • Nadcap (HT, MTL, UT)
  • ️ AS9100, AS9120
  • ISO 17025
  • ASTM
  • European Directives

Act as the primary point of contact for customer, supplier, and third-party auditor interactions related to quality systems and product issues.

Design and implement systems, metrics, and processes to detect, resolve, and prevent recurring issues.

Champion Process Management by:

  • Risk assessment & mitigation
  • Measuring Critical Process Variables (CPVs)
  • Control plan development
  • Process validation
  • Applying statistical methods

Manage budgets (fixed and variable costs) aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Continuously build knowledge of quality and operational systems to support and enhance the QMS.

Provide coaching, performance feedback, and quality awareness across the organization.

Take on additional projects and duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (preferred in Materials, Engineering, Quality Sciences, or similar fields)

Minimum 7 years of experience with Quality Management Systems

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and quality standards

Experience in continuous improvement and root cause analysis

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members across functions

Skilled in communication and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external partners

Ability to use data and structure to drive quality improvements

️ Deadline-driven with excellent prioritization skills

Willingness to travel as needed

Maintain necessary quality accreditations and customer approvals

Ensure testing capabilities support production and shipment plans

Operate with a strong focus on safety and fiscal responsibility
