As the Project Manager, you will help implement high impact software solutions for North America's Financial Services and Data (FSD) Delivery organization. You will guide the planning and execution of the daily activities with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. Not only a deep product knowledge of North America FSD's products will be required, but professional client consulting. Our clients range on a wide scale of technical proficiencies. Both communicating with client executives and speaking to clients' technical levels are important skills. You will report to the Client Success Manager.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform as technical project manager on small to large client project implementations that can exceed twelve months in duration or having significant budget (revenue) impact on the department
- Be the Subject Matter Expert assigned to multiple projects at the same time. This role as a delivery expert will manage a team (across multiple organizations) to oversee the success of client implementation. The project resources will similarly be engaged with competing responsibilities.
- Manage work across multiple delivery teams working across organizational boundaries to define roadmaps and program interdependencies using Agile methodology
- Provide task assignments, work direction and guidance to the project team to achieve quality results
- Lead tech-enabled projects and manage daily operations of department, including analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
- Be a bridge between delivery, engineering, product and Sales recommending intuitive, driven, and insightful solutions
- You will work with clients and represent Experian in client meetings by performing executive status reporting readouts on change management, current state assessments, future state roadmaps, implementation strategy
- Move fluidly from the big picture to details and allow the delivery and engineering teams to deliver complex and strategic phases.
- Resolve communication challenges and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels, building trust across the organization
- Build artifacts and templates, participate on process improvement projects and develop best practices
- Mentor new project managers.
- BA/BS or equivalent college degree, 5+ years functional experience, 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Experience as a Project Manager is required; PMP certification is encouraged
- Experience with executive status reporting and facilitating steering committee meetings is required
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience in large scale technology modernization, and managing platforms in the Cloud
- Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives
- Broad domain and technical knowledge related to analytics
- Experience in the full software development life cycle and what responsibilities each team plays in that journey
- Experience driving large scale technology modernizations
- Understanding of integrations, API's, transactional systems, architecture
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience of project management methodology and tools
- Must have experience in a consulting role to Financial Institutions
- Broad domain and technical knowledge related to analytics
- Experience of computer processes and PC desktop applications such as Jira, Confluence
- Able to travel domestically occasionally
