Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Agile JIRA Multi-Workstream)
Location: Greater Seattle Area Employment Type: Full-time Contract Start Date: May 2025

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and agile-minded Technical Project Manager to lead and execute four concurrent workstreams for a high-impact client engagement. This role requires more than just traditional project oversight - we are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, Agile/JIRA environment and can effectively manage tickets, timelines, dependencies, and blockers across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and drive the execution of multiple (four +) concurrent project workstreams, ensuring seamless coordination of regular sprint deliveries (not one-time projects).
  • Maintain end-to-end ownership of project plans, sprints, timelines, and backlog management using Jira (ticketing/project management system).
  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across workstreams; coordinate assignment adjustments as project needs evolve.
  • Monitor, triage, and escalate stalled tasks or dependencies across cross-functional teams.
  • Drive team accountability and promote a culture of ownership, transparency, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Coordinate with engineering, QA, product owners, and other stakeholders to align project priorities and deliverables.
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, release planning and release notifications in a fully Agile environment.
  • Understand and advocate for the DevOps lifecycle - CI/CD, release pipelines, code deployment, infrastructure-as-code, etc.
  • Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies; manage scope changes and timeline shifts.
  • Ensure project documentation, status reports, and metrics are clear and updated regularly.
  • Track project budget, forecast burn rates, and proactively flag variances or risks to budget compliance in a timely manner. Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Program Manager in Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing sprints and ticket workflows in Jira or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and DevOps concepts, terminology, and practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical language into business-relevant updates and vice versa. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing environments.
  • Certification in Agile/Scrum (i.e., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe).
  • Technical background or experience working closely with software engineers and DevOps teams. What Success Looks Like:
  • All workstreams have clearly defined goals, status, and ownership.
  • Tickets are being managed proactively with no stale blockers.
  • Stakeholders feel confident in delivery timelines and project transparency.
  • The TPM brings clarity and structure to fast-moving, often ambiguous workstreams. Compensation & Benefits:
  • $120,000-130,000 dependent on experience Benefits include:
  • Medical, dental, and vision offered
  • Company paid short-term disability, long-term disability, AD&D, and life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan offered
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Sick Leave
  • 9 Paid U.S. holidays
  • Referral program
