Role: Technical Project ManagerDuration: 1 yearLocation: Menlo Park, CA - Hybrid Job Description:Key Responsibilities: - Program Planning & Execution: Develop and manage program roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to coordinate dependencies and streamline execution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on program deliverables.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for program updates, providing clear and concise status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Agile & Process Optimization: Implement and refine Agile methodologies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness in program execution.
- Resource & Budget Management: Work with leadership to allocate resources effectively and track program costs to ensure financial accountability.
- Technical Understanding: Leverage a solid technical foundation to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand key architectural decisions.
- Issue Resolution: Drive problem resolution by facilitating discussions, removing roadblocks, and ensuring teams stay on track to meet deadlines.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
Experience: - 3+ years of experience in technical program management, business intelligence analytical programming, software development, or engineering project management.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs with multiple stakeholders.
Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficiency in program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.
Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive program success.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
