Job Title Technical Project Manager
What does a successful Project Manager do at Fiserv? A successful Project Manager at Fiserv assumes overall responsibility for the management and successful implementation of medium to large-sized projects executed by our Product and Technical teams. This includes supporting the CoPilot and CardPointe applications, as well as the CardPointe Gateway. The Project Manager also quickly becomes the main point of contact and subject matter expert for all aspects of assigned projects throughout their entire life cycle.
What you will do: - Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Create project outlines, identify key milestones, and manage implementation tasks across multiple teams.
- Partner with the project team to create and document project requirements.
- Document, organize, and distribute all project-related information and reporting.
- Provide clear and concise updates to the project team and key stakeholders consistently.
- Identify, report, and resolve project-related challenges, risks, and issues.
- Quickly shift focus when priority or scope changes are presented.
- Use problem-solving and data analysis skills to provide recommendations and assist key decision-makers.
- Identify and measure key success metrics.
What you will need to have - 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
- 1+ year of experience in the payments industry or with product-related projects.
- Strong familiarity with standard software development concepts.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent military experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Project, Teams/SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
What would be great to have: - Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- A self-starter attitude with the capability to interface comfortably with all impacted teams
