Technical Project Manager

Location (hybrid): Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO

What is the mission of this role?
This role combines project management skills with technical knowledge to ensure that complex projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The TPM collaborates with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver successful projects while managing risks and ensuring quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of technical projects, ensuring that they meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders (business teams, clients, product owners) to gather requirements, manage expectations, and report project status.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, and QA teams to ensure technical tasks are completed on schedule and meet the required specifications.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring potential roadblocks are addressed promptly and proactively.
Resource Allocation: Manage resources, including team capacity and external dependencies, to ensure that projects have the necessary support to succeed.
Quality Control: Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives, focusing on both technical specifications and user requirements.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, milestones, progress reports, and post-project analysis.
Agile/Scrum Process: Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum) to manage project delivery, conduct sprint planning, and lead retrospectives.

Must-Haves: Must have BS, preferred in CS.

More of a technical project manager and less scrum (should still maybe know scrum but doesn't need all the safe certs ect).
