Job Description:
• The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through completion.
• The role of the project manager is to manage projects; Plan, coordinate and ensure completion on schedule & within budget. In the context of cloud, a project manager is responsible for managing projects related to Application / Server migrations, modernization of applications, disaster recovery, large scale enhancements for improving resiliency and cost of cloud solutions etc
• He / She need to work with all required stakeholders to ensure successful migration of workloads from On-premise Data Center to Public Cloud like AWS, Azure or third party Co-Location Data Centers. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• The project manager is the bridge between upper management and the teams tasked with the actual execution of the project. They make sure the scope of the project is sound, reporting regularly on the progress of the project and that it is staying on the approved schedule.

Must Have Skills - Technical Project Manager (Cloud/Infrastructure/IT)
Skill 1 - 6 + Years of Exp in Project Management
Skill 2 - 8 +Years of Exp in Public Cloud like AWS, Azure
Skill 3 - 8+ Years of Exp in Application / Server migrations
Skill 4 - 5+ Years of Exp in Migration of workloads from On-premise Data Centre to Public Cloud
Mandatory Skills:
• 12+ yrs of overall experience out of which at least 5 years hands on experience in Project Management.
• Strong Infrastructure/Software project manager, preferably with cloud experience.
• Exceptional English Communication - Verbal & Non-verbal and written.
• Proficient in project-planning tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power point, Smartsheet, ServiceNow etc.
• Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
• Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
• Sound understanding of financial concepts like Capex, Opex, ROI, Amortization, Depreciation etc. and ability to develop and Track Budgets and Financials.
• Ability to create project documentation like Project Charter, Success Criteria, Requirements/Scope documentation, Project Plan, Lessons Learned, Risk Register, Change Log, Communication Plan etc.
• Conceptual understanding of cloud services like VM/EC2 Instance, Storage, Databases, DevSecOps tools, Containers, CDN, IOT, Networking, Security, DR solutions, App Services etc
Qualification
• Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology - Computer Science / IT / E&TC (Other streams can also be acceptable in case of strong relevant experience)
• MBA / MS (Preferred)
Profession certifications (Preferred)
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2
• Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master
