We are looking for a motivated Technical Project Manager to oversee our technology projects and operations within our data center in Austin, Texas. This role will focus on managing and coordinating various technology initiatives, including software development, digital content management, and data center operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, an understanding of technical operations, and a keen eye for quality assurance and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Lead and manage technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deliverables.
  • Oversee daily operations of the data center, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data center staff, and stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Develop detailed project plans that highlight key milestones, allocate resources effectively, and assess risks with mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with QA/QC processes to maintain high-quality standards for all technology products and projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate problem-solving to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and recommend best practices to improve project management processes, data center operations, and overall technology performance.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members as needed.
Qualifications :
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technology or data center-related field.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure management, and related technologies.
  • Understanding of QA/QC processes and best practices in software development and operational settings.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the media or non-profit sector is a plus.
