Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a Technical Project Manager thatwill be responsible for leading and managing innovative technology projects that support the mission of the Department of Defense (DoD). This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive project execution from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Project Leadership: Direct and manage technical projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of milestones, objectives, and deliverables in accordance with project specifications and goals.
  2. Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure project requirements are thoroughly understood and met, including overseeing design, development, and integration efforts.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to ensure project success.
  5. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, including resource allocation and financial tracking, ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
  6. Performance Measurement: Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project performance and outcomes, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, and technical specifications.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lessons learned into project management processes, driving ongoing improvements in project execution and delivery.
  9. Training and Support: Provide support and training to stakeholders on data analysis tools, methodologies, and best practices.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management).

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in defense or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience managing complex technical projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with AFWERX initiatives or innovation ecosystems within the DoD.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends relevant to defense and aerospace sectors.
Specialized Tool Experience: Strong proficiency project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).

Additional Information

Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.

This position is subject to contract award.
