Tyto is seeking a qualified Technical Program Manager to support a critical initiative to modernize our Federal Law Enforcement Customers legacy telephony systems to an enterprise-class VoIP and Unified Communications solution across all CONUS locations. Responsibilities This position handles the planning, deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Microsoft Teams Phone System, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Provides technical engineering support to include Project Management, Requirements, Analysis, Systems Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Network/Voice Systems Administration, system Security, and Configuration management for the FBI EVoIP and External Dialing infrastructure systems Supervises all personnel engaged in the operation and support of VoIP and External Dialing including all communications equipment in large scale or multi-shift operations. Supervises complex operations that involve two or more additional functions such as, but not limited to, network operations, systems security, systems software support, and production support activities. Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects. Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions Involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. Communicating project requirements clearly Creating a plan with incremental goals and deadlines Planning and leading team meetings Delegating and assigning tasks Ensuring deadlines are met Identifying and mitigating obstacles Writing project reviews and performance reports Serves as the primary customer point of contact within the organization. Coordinates with both internal and external customers to ensure all program objectives and expectations are aligned and executable. Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines Experience with designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the project. Track and Brief project statuses on a weekly basis and as requested Develops, maintains, and updates technical documentation such as enterprise architecture, application/system design, and network architecture and design.
Perform technical writing of Implementation Plans and procedures Oversees the Development, maintenance, and upkeep of technical documentation such as enterprise architecture, application/system design, and network architecture and design. Required: Experience developing and implementing projects and providing a single point of contact for those projects. Experience taking projects from original concept through final implementation. Experience interfacing with all areas affected by the project including end users, engineering, and other IT stakeholders. Experience defining project scope and objectives. Experience developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Experienced with project tracking and analysis. Experience ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables. Experience providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team. Experience recommending and taking action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Desired: Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Experience with ITIL or other service delivery models Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. 5 years or more of Project management experience preferred Agile SAFe Certification At least seven (7) years of experience as a project manager for VOIP projects.
