As the technical program manager on our team, you'll work with technical leads, software engineering team, our technical subcontractors, and government/commercial customers and product users to plan, analyze, manage, and report/track progress of the financial and technical areas of the program. Using your broad knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies, you'll guide your program to develop and communicate solid strategy and business impact. As a leader in the organization, you'll identify opportunities to grow the business through supporting the customer's mission. Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, approval, and implementation of tasks for integrating software into a mature, slow to change system Oversee a complicated, fast iteration cycle, software integration effort in a high side environment Define and explain the scope, scale, cost, and timetable of a project and issue contracts for the performance of services Act as the point of contact for the implementation of contract assignments Confirm that the tasks are completed on time, in sequence, within budget, and under the terms of a contractual agreement. Perform task analysis to understand the impact and risks associated with project tasks Evaluate project protocols and procedures to reduce costs and improve the quality of executed assignments Write and review technical documents and prepare monthly status reports and other required deliverables Meet and communicate with project stakeholders, including government personnel Procure materials and labor to complete contract agreements Manage the activities of personnel and subcontractors on site Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Clearance is required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as an individual contributor in a technical field or discipline, (e.g., Engineering) Solid understanding of SDLCs.
8+ years of experience with program/project management and/or technical leadership Experience managing a complex software development/integration effort in an Agile classified environment.
Understand the adaptations of Agile methodologies in government contract space Experience with managing large, multi-task contracts in scope and complexity. Experience in working with multiple specialties in a "one-team" environment.
Experience in a leadership role working with senior management to find solutions for and with customers and leading teams.
Experience with applying Agile project management concepts and principles in a professional environment.
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Desired Qualifications: Experience managing scope in an Agile, classified environment. Technical expertise in/with the Geospatial or Data Scientist mission areas (imagery analysis, geospatial analysis, or data science).
