Position Description If you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the US Navy and Commercial Customers - Serco has a great opportunity for you. Serco is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Program Manager with a strong background in financial management and contract oversight to lead and coordinate complex software development initiatives. This role bridges the gap between technical execution and strategic business planning, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with financial goals and contractual obligations. The MEO team leverages its corporate knowledge to conceive, design, construct, support and evaluate high-performance maritime systems for a variety of customers. You will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams in an integrated design environment to deliver high quality designs to schedule. In this role, you will: Lead and guide a team to successfully execute a program from a financial and strategic business planning standpoint. Strategize and analyze how to best bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic business planning. Become the face of the project by working with various technical warrant holders and higher-level government personnel within NAVSEA Ensure consistent terminology is used across NAVSEA and other shipboard systems technical documentation Assist in ensuring the on time delivery of products in addition to confirming those products are within scope and aligned with financial goals and contractual obligations. Aid in resolving conflicts between systems and disciplines Be capable of assisting various personnel and analyst from a variety of specialties to clearly and concisely expressing their system needs, in a manner that staff from other areas of expertise can understand Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor's Degree 8+ years of experience with DOD sector 2+ years of financial management experience US Citizen with ability to obtain secret clearance post-employment. 10% travel required. Broad knowledge of financials, and basic interactions of those systems Ability to communicate across specialties including Financial, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Structural Engineering Solid writing skills for communicating technical and financial materials with accuracy, and precise word usage Strong organizational and management skills Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management or related field Experience writing or editing technical requirements Ability to write financial reports using software Direct experience with NAVSEA and financial management Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military and safety of our sailors.
