Technical Program Manager, Alexa Smart Properties

Want to join a startup team building new Alexa experiences for hospitality and other out of home segments? Customers tell us they love the convenience of Alexa and smart home, and we want to extend those experiences to shared living spaces such as rentals, assisted living and more.

We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented professional who has experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications that customers love. You will be a technical leader and have significant impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of services and experiences. We manage and create billing related software for Alexa Enterprise use cases.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Alexa and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products. You take a pragmatic and iterative approach to building software: you have an ability to simplify and get things done, love experimentation and rapid iterations on new concepts. You are a focused, thoughtful leader of your team who works effectively with external and internal partners. You are highly quantitative, have great judgment and passion for building a great customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Execute the strategy and roadmap for the Alexa Enterprise Billing team.
  2. Work with stakeholders to communicate status and unblock team in their delivery goals.
  3. Work across the organization to deliver the best in-class Alexa experience for our customers while balancing critical business objectives.
  4. Own and operate mission critical services that are highly reliable.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  2. 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  3. 3+ years of software development experience.
  4. 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  5. Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  6. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  2. Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
  3. Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
