Summary:

The Meta Wearables team focuses on delivering Meta's mission through Augmented Reality (AR). As a Technical Program Manager, your job will be figuring out how to build and deliver it. You'll be a critical member of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to building the Audio SW Platform that will be used for Meta's Wearable products.As a Technical Program Manager for Audio, you will play a key role in the definition, planning, and execution of our next gen Wearable programs. You will guide a broad cross-functional team across the phase gated software development process, including planning of features and requirements, managing schedules, identifying and tracking risks and associated mitigations, and managing a system level audio platform. You will be responsible for communication of program status and risk to program stakeholders. In this role, you will have a major impact on Reality Labs future products. To be successful, you will need to quickly eliminate barriers to your team's success, clearly communicate program status to all stakeholders, and ensure that the team drives towards the product vision; all while diving into the details. You will need to bring structure and clarity to unfamiliar and ambiguous problems, and build effective relationships and mechanisms along the way.

Technical Program Manager, Audio Systems Responsibilities:

  1. Work with Hardware/Software Engineering teams to define and deliver high quality Audio platform solutions
  2. Provide key stakeholders with full visibility of the program schedule, status, risk, and mitigation plans
  3. Proactively identify and solve technical, legal, procedural, operational, and communication issues within the Audio Platform space
  4. Ensure your partner engineering teams have complete, current, accurate, and accessible data
  5. Drive cross-functional communication between internal and external teams and partners
  6. Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal-oriented results in the midst of execution
  7. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and readily available for review
  8. Consistently deliver complex programs under tight deadlines
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of Technical Program Management experience
  2. B.S. in Computer Science, EE or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  3. Experience driving software development for complex devices
  4. Demonstrated experience coordinating complex and ambiguous projects with a variety of stakeholders
  5. Experience building and managing relationships with teams across internal organizations, partners, and external vendors
  6. Experience in translating product requirements into executable plans

  1. Expertise with Audio software development for consumer electronics
  2. Experience organizing complex and long term research or product road maps
  3. Knowledge in managing software resource consumption such as performance, memory, thermal, storage, etc
  4. Prior experience building and shipping wearable products
Public Compensation:

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
