Ideal Candidate: Must have experience with using 3D rendering software.
Primary Duties: - Assist customers in resolving product issues such as installations, code compliance, and product applications.
- Assist in product testing and performance criteria
- Provide building and code compliance expertise based on product lines for both domestic and international markets
- Specification writing and development
- Assist in product and technical training for employees, distributors, and customers
- Provide technical support for Sales and Customer Service
- Complete required LEED forms for internal/external purposes as a backup role.
- Work closely with Interior Design Services and Product Management to develop interior building environments that showcase our products.
- Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create photo-real application renderings.
- Assist in the creation and management of BIM objects

Job Specifications: - Knowledge in door and wall protection products and other divisions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office utilizing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read blueprints, elevations, and drawing plans
- 2-year technical degree or appropriate work experience
- Effective writer
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally
- Experience with the use of 3D Rendering software.
Job Relationships: - Reports to Senior Director of Product Design & Development
- Coordinate efforts with various departments such as Sales, Product Management and Development, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Quality, and Marketing.
Authority: - Assists with hands-on training for new employees
- Initiate corrective action for product/process improvements
- Update and maintain TDM
- Negotiate costs with vendors
