Position About the Role: We are seeking a pragmatic and detail-oriented Technical Product Owner / Technical Project Manager to serve as a critical liaison between engineering and support teams. This is a fully onsite role, embedded with the engineering team, focused on internal initiatives spanning multiple robotics and software products. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in fast-changing environments, and capable of both high-level planning and hands-on coordination. The role requires fluency in structured project management practices, including timeline management, milestone tracking, and the generation of deliverables such as Gantt charts and project plans, while still maintaining flexibility to adapt processes to real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities - Own and groom the engineering backlog with ruthless prioritization based on impact, urgency, and feasibility
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across support, implementation, and customer success teams to feed real-world signals into product decisions
- Manage scope, timelines, and deliverables across multiple ongoing initiatives
- Document edge cases, weird system behavior, and "tribal knowledge" as you encounter it
- Identify process gaps and propose lightweight structures to address them without creating bloat
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders needing updates, roadmaps, or issue triage
Requirements Must-Have Qualifications - Proven experience in a technical product owner or technical project manager role (preferably both)
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Skilled at driving software development processes (Agile, Kanban, etc.)
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to messy environments
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Notion, or similar tools
- Strong instinct for prioritization and a healthy disdain for busywork
Nice-to-Haves - Background in robotics, logistics, or warehouse automation
- Experience with bug triage or support ticket systems
- Technical literacy (reading code, understanding system architecture diagrams, etc.)
- Prior work with startups or companies in operational transformation phases
