Title: Technical Product Owner

Job Description:

Act as a Technical Product Owner and Solution Architect for Azure/.NET-based solutions
Drive the full product lifecycle: define requirements, break work into manageable chunks, and ensure delivery
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., the State of Michigan) to gather and clarify requirements
Architect solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including identifying optimal tools (e.g., ADF pipelines, Logic Apps)
Build and maintain product backlogs, approve work items, and guide dev teams through sprints
Ensure code deployment readiness and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and optimize
Present technical solutions and progress to leadership and cross-functional groups

Must-Have Qualifications:

Strong .NET architecture experience
Azure expertise: function apps, logic apps, durable functions, and cloud-native development
Proven experience working directly with business users and external partners to define and elicit technical requirements
Exceptional communication and organizational skills; able to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders
Experience in breaking down large technical tasks for development teams and leading backlog refinement
Comfortable managing development through tools like Azure DevOps (or Jira)
Previous background as a developer (ideally in C ) with the ability to guide technical decisions
Knowledge of cloud and on-prem hybrid application environments

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with Confluent Kafka
Familiarity with SAFe or other Agile frameworks
Experience implementing non-credit payment methods or government assistance programs in e-commerce environments
Background working with state-level agencies or compliance-focused partners
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, performance optimization, and scalable architectures
