A financial services company in North Carolina is looking to add a new Technical Product Owner to their growing team in Charlotte.

This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with leadership, technology, business, and digital partners to define and shape the customer and associate experience
  • Define and prioritize product needs based on the product strategy and roadmap
  • Validate product requirements have been met for each development iteration
  • Help define and conduct product demonstrations that show development progress and alignment with product goals
  • Actively participate in Agile Scrum framework, supporting Technical Product Owner activities
  • Support the team by reviewing business and technical requirements and architecture
  • Support the product vision and strategy
  • Support the team in developing and clearly communicating product plans, benefits, and results to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to customers
  • Facilitate effective and efficient cross-team collaboration while ensuring documentation is whole
  • Triage product issues with business and technology partners to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution with minimal impact to users and the business
  • Create a consistent, proactive reporting routine for standard program updates and transparency to management
  • Remains engaged in all steps of the sprint process, including validation/testing and participation in regularly scheduled technology releases
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven professional experience balancing competing priorities and iteratively delivering value to customers
  • Proven experience and understanding that measurement and analysis is critical to success
  • Detailed-oriented and able to perform tasks at all levels, including some routine tasks
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong PC skills required: Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency

Desired Skills:

  • Professional experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes
  • Professional experience in Technical Product Management
  • Experience in APIs or some related technology
  • Experience in Jira
