It's an exciting time to join us. The RWEST Data Platform Team is seeking an experienced technical lead to shape the future data needs of our organization.
Using the latest cloud technology, the Lead in Data (LiD) platform, used as the primary data analytics platform within the group, alongside MIX, has revolutionized data searching, sharing, and onboarding within our organization. Market Data is a fundamental asset supporting our trading, analysis, and support functions, and is rapidly becoming a critical asset across the RWE group.
We are looking for a motivated tech enthusiast to join us as a Technical Product Owner, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and internal squads to define our platform's future direction.

Your future responsibilities
- Own the Lead in Data product vision and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Act as the interface between stakeholders, translating business requirements into a technical backlog, design, and roadmap.
- Shape and influence the technical delivery backlog with ideas, enhancements, and requirements from various sources.
- Architect strategic solutions to enhance our self-service platform offering.
- Work hands-on with data solutions for complex requirements, demonstrating a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Engage with platform vendors (AWS, Dremio, Databricks, Tableau, Alation), prioritize fixes, and assess product roadmaps, impacts, and usage/billing.
- Collaborate with IT and business Product Owners in the Data domain (Market Data IT, Embedded IT, Governance Office, Licensing).
- Stay updated on new Data Analytics trends and explore innovative solutions.
- Mentor squad members in knowledge, architecture, and solutions.
- Communicate fluently in English (verbal and written).
- Translate business needs into technical designs and improve existing solutions.
- Understand cloud architecture and production system design principles.
- Possess strong knowledge of Cloud Ecosystems, preferably AWS.
- Balance technical expertise with business acumen and user engagement.
- Work collaboratively to deliver value to users.
- Ensure operational aspects like high availability, scalability, security, monitoring, and robustness.
- Apply DevOps best practices.
- Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and IT teams.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships and inspire trust.
- Be a motivated, independent, and reliable team player.
