Technical Portfolio Manager with Security Clearance

Riverside Overview Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Technical Portfolio Manager to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This position will provide expert-level program oversight and will include the development and implementation of program management and project plans, schedules, and budgets; providing assistance in tracking and reporting on program execution; developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders; and facilitating training and mentoring for government personnel on program and project management. Responsibilities Assist with planning, programming, and budget execution activities; identify pertinent guidance, resource constraints, and monitor investment by mission area to meet strategic objectives
Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contract mission partners across the intelligence community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD)
Assist in securing and managing funding for programs and projects and ensure that programs and projects are properly funded and aligned with goals and objectives
Monitor and evaluate the program on a continuous basis, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that it remains properly prioritized and aligned with requirements and objectives
Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for program and project management.
Facilitate training and mentoring for government personnel on program and project management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication
Bachelor's in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fields
15 years program/project management experience within the DoD/IC
Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports, briefings, and program related information to a variety of government and internal stakeholders
Experience managing financials across a variety of projects and contracts
Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, leadership, and organizational skills
Open to occasional travel Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with various NASIC contract vehicles such as MEGASTAR, NOVASTAR and COMET
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Service Now, and MS Power BI
Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Global Comp This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
