Job Description
Our team has an immediate need for a Technical Manager to lead the execution of shipboard IT work, Network Operation Center (NOC) operation and maintenance, Security Operation Center (SOC) tasking, technical training, and all other technical aspects of contractual work. Primary responsibilities include:
Manage all facets of technical project execution, to include Task List completion and Performance Work Statement adherence, for all project teams (Technicians, NOCs, SOC, Asset Management, Training, and Knowledge Management)
Capture and analyze metrics to manage technical work performed by project teams, and use them to identify underperforming areas and devise, implement, and track the effectiveness of corrective actions to resolve them
Serve as deputy to the Program Manager, assisting with top-level oversight of contractual execution by leading meetings, interfacing with senior members of government leadership, and responding to urgent taskings and/or data calls when needed
Complete administrative tasking as needed, such as bimonthly timesheet approvals, oversight of certification and training completed by team members, and conducting proper asset handling briefings to team members
Assist with modernizing and implementing internal policies and procedures conducive to the Stratas team. To include, improving Knowledge Management practices and manager professional development
Directly supervise Asset Management and Training team leads
Job Requirements
Must possess current IAM III or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
Must have 8 years of experience leading large and complex problems, which includes the installation and sustainment of C4 systems and infrastructure, and an understanding of the C4 requirements in relation to the customer missions
Must have Knowledge Management experience
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint experiences are preferred
Must have experience briefing upper management and/or upper echelons of military chains of command
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to travel as needed to support mission requirements
